Sukkot, Feast of Tabernacles

Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles / Booths) is the seven-day (7) appointed time at the end of the harvest, followed immediately by the “eighth day” celebration, Shemini Atzeret, more on that in it’s own post later. This post will be updated with regards to all Sukkot-related information continuously as new discoveries come up. If you have one, that you would like to share with the community, please let me know in Youtube-community on any post and I can take it in here. 🙏❤️

Sukkot is the most mysterious Feast of the LORD as noone really knows why it is celebrated like it is and when it is. What do the temporary booths that have a ceiling that has holes in it and lets the rain come have to do with celebration of the last harvest and gathering? What do walls that do not block any animals from entering, like scoripons in the desert, have to do with celebration of the last Feast on which ALL men were required to appear in front of the LORD?

During Sukkot, Israelites were, however, indeed told to live in these temporary shelters, booths, sukkah, and to rejoice before the Lord. In this post we will look in-depth, into the secrets, connects, reasoning, process and timing of Sukkot and see what we can find.

When is Sukkot observed

Sukkot begins on the 15th day of the seventh month on the biblical calendar, so 15th of 7th month Tishrei. The dates on the Gregorian calendar move each year, but in 2026 it is observed from 25th September until 2nd October with 3rd October being Shemini Atzeret. So 2026-09-25 - 2026-10-03.

What does the Bible say about the Feast of Sukkot, basics

1. Live in a sukkah (booth) for seven days
2. The first and eighth days are holy convocations; no ordinary work
3. Sukkot is a Feast of the LORD
4. Sukkot is connected to four (4) types of trees more on this in it's own post later
5. Sukkot is celebrated after all gatherings are complete

Leviticus 23:33-44

'And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD. On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein . Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD : on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD : it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein . These are the feasts of the LORD , which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD , a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day: beside the sabbaths of the LORD , and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD . Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath. And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD .'

6. Rejoice and gather
7. Last of the three (3) Feasts on which all the males were to appear before the LORD God

Deuteronomy 16:13-16
https://www.bible.com/fi/bible/1/DEU.16.13-16.KJV

'Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: and thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates. Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice. Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: '

Why is Sukkot a High Watch season for Rapture 🎺🎶

During Yeshua, Jesus, first coming, He fulfilled all the Spring Feasts to-the-day on the Feasts of the LORD Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits and Shavuot, Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). Sukkot, Feast of Tabernacles is a Feast of the LORD, which are always High Watch dates.

What makes Sukkot, Feast of Tabernacles, special, are the Biblical connects alluding to sheltering of believers during the endtime. Connects between key Books of the Bible allude to also ESCAPE in addition to sheltering, connected with the Sukkah, Sukkot, language or even at times the specific word.

Additionally the shelter-theme of Sukkot seems to be connected to end-times in multiple ways in scripture. Some will be sheltered through the final 7 or 3,5 years, some will be taken into shelters in Heaven to hide for a little while - perhaps connecting the Sukkah with the theme of ESCAPE not just shelter, like Noah had in the Ark through the flood.

Sukkot connect with Exodus and Rapture in the Bible

Exodus 13:20
'And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.'

Etham means a fort, fortress - heavy and secure shelter.
Hence the Israelites left from booths into a secure fortress at the edge of the wilderness.

2. Samuel 22:1-3
'And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: and he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, My saviour; thou savest me from violence.'

The LORD (Yeshua, Jesus) in the Rock and the Fortress
Hence the Israelites left from booths to Yeshua, Jesus. The Church has not and will not replace Israel, but the Bride is the first to be “crafted in” by the Master Gardener God to the Mother Tree of Israel?

Psalm 18:1-6
'I will love thee, O LORD , my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD , who is worthy to be praised: So shall I be saved from mine enemies. The sorrows of death compassed me, And the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: The snares of death prevented me. In my distress I called upon the LORD , And cried unto my God: He heard my voice out of his temple, And my cry came before him, even into his ears. '

Psalm 18:7-32
'Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, And fire out of his mouth devoured: Coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: And darkness was under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: Yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him Were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, Hail stones and coals of fire. The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; Hail stones and coals of fire. Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; And he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them. Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD , At the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took me, He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: For they were too strong for me. They prevented me in the day of my calamity: But the LORD was my stay. He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because he delighted in me. The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. For I have kept the ways of the LORD , And have not wickedly departed from my God. For all his judgments were before me, And I did not put away his statutes from me. I was also upright before him, And I kept myself from mine iniquity. Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight. With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; With an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; And with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward. For thou wilt save the afflicted people; But wilt bring down high looks. For thou wilt light my candle: The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; And by my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: The word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in him. For who is God save the LORD ? Or who is a rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, And maketh my way perfect. '

Psalm 18 (quoted in 2.Samuel) is talking about the LORD (Yeshua, Jesus) raching down and pulling us up

The whole Psalm is related also to the endtimes and the content is matching to the situation in the world today. Will we see ourselves delivered in Rapture to a fortress at the edge of the wilderness to safety, before the Pharaoh starts to pursure us on this Exodus2 like what happened during Exodus1?

Exodus 13:18-19
'but God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt. And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you. '

Moses means “drawn out of the water”, so the one drawn out from the water will carry the bones of Joseph (He will add, may God add” or the root Asaf “gather” or “take away”) the one taken away!

Psalm18 describes perfectly the endtime and our Blessed Hope of being pulled out (to escape) from the world.

Psalm 27:4-10
'One thing have I desired of the LORD , that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD , and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up, Above mine enemies round about me: Therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD . Hear, O LORD , when I cry with my voice: Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst , Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD , will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; Put not thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; Leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take me up. '

The word Tabernacle is Sukkah in Psalm27, the LORD will hide us in His Pavillion and in the secret of His sukkah, Sukkot?, He shall hide us?

This is Rapture language and one of the old testament allusions to Rapture. Talking about the secret of Sukkah, Sukkot - lets have a look at Exodus 14

Exodus 14:1-3
'And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal-zephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. '

Pi-hahiroth means “mouth of caverns” Migdol means fortress Baal-zephon means Lord of the North, Lord of the hidden, Lord of the Watchmen So Israelites are instructed to encamp before the mouth of the caverns, between fortress and the sea and over against the Lord of the watchmen, Yeshua, Jesus.

The caverns in the earth are a perfect place to hide into - fortress not made with human hands. Between the fortress (Yeshua, Jesus) and the sea (the worldly powers) there will be the watchmen following the LORD, that is the place to encamp as Egypt started to come after them - a prefect analog to today. 🙏❤️🎺🎶
